At St Hurmizd Assyrian Primary School, preserving our Assyrian language, history and culture is an important part of the education we provide.
Students are given opportunities to learn and use the Assyrian language, understand the history of the Assyrian people, and participate in cultural traditions and celebrations that connect them with generations before them.
Through these experiences, we aim to ensure our students understand where they come from, take pride in their Assyrian identity and develop the knowledge and confidence to carry their language, culture and traditions into the future.
