Our Mission
To provide students of any background a unique education based on 21st century pedagogy in order to equip them with necessary skills to be active Australian citizens, reflecting the faith, heritage, language and culture of the Assyrian Church of the East.

At St Hurmizd Assyrian Primary School, values and beliefs make us who we are, empowering us with positive attitudes, inspiring our achievement, reflecting our commitments and representing our School culture.
Education is a lifelong process that fosters the worth of the individual; it is a process involving a partnership of students, home, school, Church and community. St Hurmizd Assyrian Primary School has an effective learning environment that fosters, in each student, a sense of unique value, self-esteem and importance to society.
We value working together to develop and continuously improve processes that support the creative pursuit of new ideas in everything that we do.
ONE ST HURMIZD
The purpose of ONE ST HURMIZD is to advance the performance of all our staff and students in a supportive and collaborative learning environment.
Motivation, success, and feeling valued are what drives individuals, at any level and in any profession. In the school setting, it is critically important that we celebrate and recognise the outstanding things that our School community accomplishes, both inside and out of our buildings.
At St Hurmizd, we celebrate ONE ST HURMIZD. ONE ST HURMIZD underpins all aspects of our vision for St Hurmizd Assyrian Primary School, our students and our staff. Over the next five years we will see staff and students understand the power of ONE; the importance of being ONE learning community and the power of the ONE individual to make a difference.
